For more than 20 years Schoenau & Houcken GmbH has manufactured fine jacquard fabrics for the production of high quality neckties. Dieter Schoenau and Horst Houcken founded the company in the silk town of Krefeld in 1986. Since the very beginning, their top priority has been fashionable patterns, outstanding quality, perfect workmanship and a high level of service. Because of this the small business quickly grew to be a company of international standing, which now successfully distributes its collections in over 30 countries.

Schoenau & Houcken GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of jacquard woven necktie fabrics made of silk, polyester, microfibre and viscose – which are also used in the production of their own collection. In addition to fashionable neckties, this collection comprises elegant shawls and scarves. The fabrics are distinguished by their exceptional high quality, creative and contemporary patterns, consistently original patterns and fine workmanship.

Each individual customer request is realised and all designs are drafted in an in-house studio. An innovative collection of woven and printed fabrics that are in tune with current trends is created four times a year. Fabrics are also produced for longstanding partners in Germany and the Far East.

Schoenau & Houcken's comprehensive stock range, which is revised and renewed on a weekly basis, guarantees both the ready availability of fabrics and fast delivery of neckties to retailers.
